Reception and social hour: 5:30–6:30pm
Start the evening with light refreshments and conversation with the Pancreas Cancer Task Force, a group of volunteers striving to aid advancement in pancreas cancer research. Following the reception, you will hear about recent advancements in pancreatic cancer research and surgical treatments with presentations by UW Carbone’s Nataliya Uboha, MD, PhD, Daniel Abbott, MD, and Kevin Eliceiri, PhD. Opening remarks by Sofia Refetoff, PhD.
Hear the story of Steve Nickols and how pancreas cancer affected his life and the lives of his family members. Bring questions and be an active part of the researcher-led Q&A, immediately following the presentations.
