I am a Simons post-doctoral fellow in the labs of Tyler Ulland and Kevin Eliceiri, where I use multiphoton and light sheet microscopy to understand the role of the microglia, the brain’s innate immune cells, in aging and disease. She uses the model organism zebrafish, a freshwater fish that shares a striking amount of genetic similarity with humans and has amazing regenerative capacity.
